Eating Out: Saving Money and Making Money

Before you go out to dinner, you may want to try a Google Search for:

<restaurant name> coupon

You might find a coupon for $5 off a bill of $25 or more, buy one entree, get one free, or a free desert just to name a few.

After enjoying a good meal and saving some money, you might be able to make some too.  Or you may get something additional for free.

Burger King has a website address on the back of it's receipt.  They ask you to take a short survey about your dining experience. In turn, they give you a code number to write on the back of the receipt.  Bring the receipt back to Burger King the next time you go, and get a free Whopper with the purchase of fries and a drink.

Some surveys also pay money.  A restaurant may be looking for more detailed feedback about a proposed menu item.  Will people like it? Will they hate it? How can a restaurant chain find out before spending 10's of millions of dollars?

They can ask people for feedback via the form of an online survey. In exchange for providing honest feedback, they are willing to pay you for your time.

Where can you find these surveys? A site called Proof of Payments has done the research.  They only list legitimate and totally free survey sites that have a proven payment history. In fact, one survey company paid out over 15 million dollars to its members in 2012!

There are surveys on a variety of different topics.  And some are about restaurants.  So it's possible to eat out, enjoy a nice meal, save some money, and make some money all at the same time.

Enjoy your meal. And enjoy your extra money. :)
